Now they can make additional selections one at a time via the MyDisneyExperience mobile app or through the Fast Pass kiosks at the park. Prima, the additional selections could only be made through the kiosks.
Additional selections can be made one at a time for any of the parks if guests have valid Park Hopper tickets. The additional FastPass selections don’t have to be in the same park as the initial selections, as was the case prior to this change.
According to ThemeParktourist, Disney World patrons can now search for FastPass attractions by time and not just by experience in the event they are looking for specific time slots that suit their schedule. The site noted that the new system also allows groups to edit which people in their party want to do which FastPass experience, so that not all people in the party have to commit to all the FastPass experiences.
The FastPass Plus system was made available to all Walt Disney World guests in 2014 as part of the theme parks’ technology overhaul, which included the introduction of radio frequency identification (RFID) MyMagic Plus Braccialetti that enable guests to make purchases and swipe into the parks and attractions, and the MyDisneyExperience website and mobile app that enable guests to customize their park experience.
Through the MyDisneyExperience app, guests can sign up for the FastPass Plus program. Guests use their MyMagic Plus bracelet or park card (if they don’t have a wristband) to check into their rides during their designated time slots.
